Zurich International School.

Zurich International School offers an international education that engages students in significant learning, reflective inquiry and personal growth.

Accredited by both the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, ZIS is the only fully accredited, co-educational, international day school for students aged 3 to 18 in the Zurich area.

ZIS was formed in 2001 through the merger of the International Primary School of Zurich and the American International School of Zurich, and today has more than 900 students representing over 45 nationalities.

The curriculum for younger children is based on the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organisation, while the Upper School offers both US College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the IB Diploma Programme. Over 90 per cent of ZIS graduates go on to attend universities, colleges and other institutions of higher learning throughout the world, including in Switzerland.
