A new car helps to soothe the savage beast in anxious drivers, "Senso," unveiled by Rinspeed automotive design company at the International Motor Show in Geneva in March, uses a series of sensors, and a pulse-monitoring watch, to detect a hostile or sluggish mood.

An onboard camera records the driver's movements, including how often he or she changes lanes. If the vehicle diagnoses a possible case of road rage, it puffs out soothing aromas like vanilla mandarin, plays some mood music, and projects soft blue...
