Taste of Paradise regained: New Sri Lankan and Indian restaurant in Zurich.

There's good news for lovers of fine Asian cuisine: popular Sri Lankan chef Hiran Silva is back in Zurich with his restaurant, Taste of Paradise.

The new Taste of Paradise located at Hohlstrasse 355 in Zurich (on the corner of Knuslistrasse, bus 31 to Herdernstrasse) is open Tuesday to Saturday for a la carte lunches and dinners (dinner-only on Saturdays), with an Ayurveda buffet on Sunday evenings.

Silva presents a menu of mostly Sri Lankan and Indian dishes, with a smattering of Thai specialities. There will be plenty for vegetarians and lovers of exotic vegetables too: "We've always prided ourselves on our delicious fresh vegetable dishes, and there will be more than ever at the new restaurant," says Silva, a native Sri Lankan who trained at the hotel...
