Last month we took you on a tour of the skies and tunneled underground. This month, as our thoughts often turn to friends and family, we decided to leave Switzerland and look abroad at two Swiss-run charities that help children who don't have the support of family.

Personally, my favourite part of December is choosing and giving the perfect gift; I love to see happiness register on my friends' faces as they open my presents. This year however, my heart's focus shifted to children who deserve everything, but have so little.
