Record disasters from global warming.

Global warming caused a record number of natural disasters across the world in 2007, up nearly 20 per cent from the previous year, according to the Geneva-based Red Cross.

As of October 10, the federation had already recorded 410 disasters.

An estimated 56 per cent of them were weather-related.
