Price complaints continue to rise.

Switzerland's price watchdog recorded almost 1,400 complaints from the general public in 2005, a bumper crop of dissent, it says.

The figure is almost 50 per cent up on 2004 and double that of 2003, but actually reflects a healthy and growing awareness of the problem of inflated prices in Switzerland, said federal price administrator Rudolf Strahm.
