Kunsthaus Zurich gets a facelift.

The Zurich art gallery has undergone a four-year renovation that included its historic Moser Buildings and exhibition wings. Further extension of the Heimplatz, to make space for growing collections, should be complete by 2010.

It's "like the museum just woke up from a long beauty sleep," said director Christoph Becker, who added that the electorate had approved a SFr 28.5 million loan for Kunsthaus renovations in a citywide vote five years ago.
