Gunter Sachs, the legendary German-born playboy and former-husband of French film star Brigitte Bardot, has committed suicide at the age of 78. Sachs was the great-grandson of Opel car magnate Adam Opel, and his inherited fortune made him a regular face among the '60s jet set. He also gained an international reputation for his photographic work, which featured beautiful women and surreal scenes.
