The District Court of Zürich held in a decision of January 10, 1939, that the Hague Convention concerning the Conclusion of Marriages, of June 12, 1902, which had been signed by Switzerland and Germany, but not by Austria, applied also to Austrian nationals who had become German citizens in consequence of the annexation of Austria by Germany.2
