Geneva bans public smoking.

Geneva will ban smoking in public places following a referendum in late February. The move makes Geneva the sixth of Switzerland's 26 cantons to impose such a ban.
About 79 per cent of voters supported the prohibition, which the local government said would be quickly implemented.
