Year of the soldier.
The adoption of the new Washington, DC convention centre for the site of the annual Association of the United States Army convention was a step in the right direction--although the halls were already bursting at the seams with exhibitor displays. Another step in the right direction seems to be the proliferation of drones and robotics in the Future Combat System programme and other soldier-saving projects.
