Behind the Weleda headquarters in the canton of Baselland, a lovingly cultivated garden is planted with many of the 600 species used in its product range. It is an apt reflection of the company's credo: 'In harmony with nature'.

All Weleda products are marketed as '100 per cent vegetarian': free of animal by-products, hydrocarbon-derived substances, synthetic dyes and preservatives, as well as genetically modified crop materials.
