Touring the caves at Vallorbe: high in the Jura mountains, in the town of Vallorbe, lies the underground source of the Orbe River in one of the most fascinating and beautiful natural wonders in Suisse Romande.

The Orbe River begins in France and flows into the Lac de Joux. From there, it gushes over stones and down forested slopes to meet the river called Ida Jougnenaz and then carries on to the town of Orbe. The name changes to La Thiele as it continues to its final destination of Lake Neuchatel.
