UNCTAD's Secretary-General, Rubens Ricupero of Brazil, who retired on Sep 14, 2004, told ITC's staff that he will remember how much he learned from them -- their spirit of objectivity, of trying to make good ideas work in practice. He singled out trade in services and dispute settlement as key areas for the coming years.
