The thing that probably impresses most people about Thomas Meyerhöffer is that he helped to design Apple's iMac computer, which was responsible for the company's legendary comeback. Some years earlier he had designed the eMac for Apple, the world's first translucent computer which served as the precursor to the now-historic iMac. That product is now in the permanent collection of San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art.
