Summary
Now [Robyn] is back with her new album "Robyn" on her own record label Konichiwa Records, and she has never sounded better. The first single, "Be Mine," topped the charts this spring over all of Scandinavia. The song is, in many ways, the perfect pop song, sounding like Kate Bush Cloudbusting, and including a refrain quite similar to Cyndi Lauper's past hit "Time After Time," "Be Mine" has grand David Arnold strings, hot-tempered beats, and short pauses that press the tempo. Robyn has had help from producer and songwriter Klas Åhlund from the cult pop band Teddybears Sthlm.
