Swiss News' Julia Hancock had a chance to chat with her in Bern halfway through her term.

I had allowed myself plenty of time to reach my meeting with Bruderer. Previous experience of politicians had taught me to be generous with time. Security checks, protective press corps and generally self-important politicians made any interview a complicated and time-consuming issue.
