I'm a Russian citizen, married to a South African (Swiss citizen), and living in canton Zug. In 2005 VII sold my apartment in Moscow, which I received as a gift from my grandfather. We declared the sale in our 2004 tax return. The money for the sold apartment was transferred to my Swiss bank account and then used as a prepayment for an apartment in Zug.
