Designing her dreams: designer and exporter of garments Smita Suchde, now based in Zurich, has come a long way--both professionally and geographically.
Hailing from a traditional family in Bombay, Smita Suchde studied economics, political science and law. Then, instead of stepping into the courtroom, she traipsed into the creative world of design. She learned about gems and designing jewellery, but realised she needed more flow of creativity and style. From gems, she turned to fabric.
