From the streets to the stage.
Today, Lazaro Godoy (25) is one of 16 professional dancers in the Stadttheater Bern Ballett, but in 1986 he was just a little boy dancing in the streets of rural Cuba. Despite his subsequent training in ballet and modem dance, Godoy still think he owes a lot to the gang of teenage street-performers who taught him to break-dance when he was nine.
