Jurg Conzett: engineering matters: Jurg Conzett is not an architect. "It was fantastic news, but yes, it was a huge surprise when I heard of my selection," he laughs, "after all, I'm an engineer and not an architect."

Conzett lives and works in Chur. He studied engineering at the polytechnic in Lausanne (EPFL) then went on to the acclaimed ETH in Zurich, graduating in 1980.
