Art Brut: an art gallery unlike any other, this collection near the heart of Lausanne questions the meaning of art and our very definitions of 'normal' and 'abnormal'.

The Art Brut movement was conceived by Jean Dubuffet (1901-1985), a French painter who began his research in Switzerland in 1945. He is also responsible for the Art Brut gallery in Lausanne, which opened in 1976 to exhibit his donations.
